Registration for 2016 Dragon Boat Festival is now open and you can register your team by using the form on the registration page.

 2015 WINNERS MERSEYSIDE POLICE 

Newcomers Auger are the market leaders in the delivery of drainage investigations, validation and repair services to the insurance industry with ambitions of being the leaders in this years Dragon Boat Race.

Market leading national legal services provider Carpenters are seasoned participants in the Headway Wirral Dragon Boat races and as previous winners Carpenters are keen to seize the title again at this year's race, enterring 3 boats to double the threat to their competitors.

 

 

Seasoned competitors Exchange Chambers are back for their fifth year to support the Headway Wirral Dragon Boat Festival and they've got their eyes firmly set on the prize.

Simon Rimmer from Channel 4's Sunday Brunch will be captaining a team in this years race from his very own business. Simon, originally from Wallasey, Wirral is keen to get involved with the event and support his local community.

 

 

Headway Wirral group members, sufferers of ABI along with their families and our staff will be taking to the water captained by Headway Wirral's Development Officer Phil Barr, championing the spirit of this event.

High value legal costs specialists Law Costing Ltd are back to support the race for the fourth year. They missed 1st place last year by a fraction of a second. Whilst fractions do not usually trouble them, that one did and so they are back this year with one thing in mind: Victory!

New comers to the event Litigation Recovery Services are training hard and hoping for a spot of beginners luck to spur on success in this race of skill.

A group of friends from Merseyside Police who love nothing better than getting together and working as a team, whilst having fun.

 

Plexus Law are joining us on the water this year, bringing more friendly competition to the event!

 

Premex are back on board to support Headway Wirral. Ready for some friendly competition and fun!

RSA's team are new to the race this year but they're known for their hard working attitude and team work ethos and will be one to watch in this year's race.

 

 

 

 

 

 

It takes a team to row a dragon- a dragon boat that is! SGI will be swapping their suits for sports gear and putting their paddling-power to the test. All in the name of charity.

We are all novices but will endevour to train hard, try our best and most of all raise money for a worthy cause. Not forgetting to have fun too. The staff from Stanley School, a state school assisting children with a range of learning difficulties, will be taking to the water for their first ever Dragon Boat Race.

 


 

Verus UK will be taking to the water for the first time this year and they are ready for some friendly competition!

Strong competitors Weightman's are back once again for 2016. Known for their tactical approach this team has it's eyes set firmly on the prize

 

 

 

West Kirby Sailing are active members of the Wirral community, keen supporters of persons with

disabilities and are primed to use their skills and training to rival the other teams in this competition.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Joining us on the water for the first time this year are a group of friends named the Privateers, they are ready to paddle their way to victory whilst enjoying some friendly competition.

We have two teams of Mums called the Dragamams and Merry Mermaids from St Bridgets School taking to the water this year and are helping support Headway Wirral but the two teams of mums could be the ones to watch out for on the water this year.

Acclaimed law firm BLM are back again for another attempt at glory but this year they are bringing 4 years of experience and lot of determination to the water.
