Back for their second year West Kirby's The Viking will be fundraising for Headway Wirral and competing in this year's race captained by chef and Sunday Brunch co-host Simon Rimmer.

The 2016 winnings Team Auger Solutions will be defending the Paddle of Power this year and if last year's performance is anything to go by, the team's vying for the title will be in for a challenge.

Market leading national legal services provider Carpenters are seasoned participants in the Headway Wirral Dragon Boat races and as previous winners Carpenters are keen to seize the title again at this year's race.

Exchange Chambers are long standing supporters of the Headway Wirral Dragon Boat race and will once again be taking part in this year's event, bringing their experience and strong desire to succeed.

Headway Wirral group members, sufferers of Aquired Brain Injury along with their families and our staff will be taking to the water captained by Headway Wirral's Development Officer Phil Barr, championing the spirit of this event.

Law Costing are seasoned professionals when it comes to dragon boat racing and they've supported this event for many years. They're performance in 2016 saw them reach the final and this year the team will be hoping to take home the paddle of power.

Law firm Maxwell Hodge, established over 150 years ago, are an independent firm of solicitors with a large network of nine local offices across Merseyside and Wirral. The team are joining in this year's Dragon Boat race to support Headway Wirral and challenge for the Paddle of Power.

St Bridgett's mums are back in the race for 2017 and no doubt bringing their families along again for a day of fun! After an impressive effort at last year's event the team is confident that they'll make a splash in this year's race.

West Kirby Sailing are active members of the Wirral community, keen supporters of persons with

disabilities and are looking to use their sailing skills to their advantage as they compete once again in 2017's dragon boat race.

Procter & Gamble are a new team to the event but they are hoping to clean the board and win the title.

A new team 'Move And Flow' have now signed up for this years Dragon Boat Race, we wish them well.

Premex has shown it's support of the Headway Wirral Dragon Boat Race for 2017 and will be taking to the water to raise money.
