Back for their third year West Kirby's The Viking will be fundraising for Headway Wirral and competing in this year's race captained by chef and Sunday Brunch co-host Simon Rimmer.
The 2017 winnings Team Auger Solutions will be defending the Paddle of Power this year and if last year's performance is anything to go by, the team's vying for the title will be in for a challenge.
Market leading national legal services provider Carpenters are seasoned participants in the Headway Wirral Dragon Boat races and as previous winners Carpenters are keen to seize the title again at this year's race.
Exchange Chambers are long standing supporters of the Headway Wirral Dragon Boat race and will once again be taking part in this year's event, bringing their experience and strong desire to succeed.
West Kirby Sailing are active members of the Wirral community, keen supporters of persons with
disabilities and are looking to use their sailing skills to their advantage as they compete once again in 2017's dragon boat race.
CL Warren are a new team who have signed up for this years race.

Hoylake and West Kirby Round Table are a group of men, aged 18-45, who meet twice a month for a laugh and maybe a couple of drinks. Throughout the year they raise money for charity whilst having a good time with their largest event being in December, when they take out their Santa Sleigh around the streets of Hoylake and West Kirby providing an opportunity for the kids to meet the man himself and raising money for local good causes.

Greasby Ukes meet each Monday evening at 7pm in the Greasby community centre to learn and practice playing the Ukelele. There is a beginners section and usually around 50 people enjoying what must be the easiest musical instrument to learn and one that brightens your day, it doesn't matter how good you are its just fun to take part. George Harrison once said that you cannot play a Ukelele and not smile! Throughout the year they play lots of gigs, spreading fun and enjoyment whilst supporting local charitable causes.

Merseyside police are previous winners of the Dragon Boat festival and are back in 2018 to regain their title. With two teams from both sides of the Water. We have a teams from Liverpool and Wirral
